 ALPINE MOUNTAINEERS PROUDLY PRESENT AN UNLIMITED WEIGHT DIVISION FOR TACKLE FOOTBALL FOR THE 2012 SEASON! That's right Unlimited Weight Division. Football players the ages of 11,12,13 and14 with a weight of minimum 105 lbs to unlimited are eligible for this new division.  Click here for registration flyer.

 

Tackle Football registration is $275, Flag is $175 and Cheer registration is $300.

 

Needed for registration:

Two (2) Copies of childs birth certificate

One (1) 2X3 color photo of child

Proof of residency, ie. copy of a utllity bill

2012 Player contract

2012 Pop Warner Physical form *must be signed by a doctor

2012 Pop Warner Zero Tolerance form

2012 APW refund policy form

Two (2) copies childs 2011/12 Final year end report card will be needed before first day of practice

Dr. Wayne Moyer will be present at registration giving physicals for $25.  If you want to schedule an appointment to see Dr. Moyer for a physical in his office at a date and time more convenient for you please contact his office at 619-442-3444.  His office is located at 757 Broadway, El Cajon, CA 92021.  You must take a copy of the 2012 Pop Warner Physical form with you if you make an appointment at his office.  Let his office know you are from Alpine Pop Warner.

Dear Residents and Businesses of Alpine and surrounding areas,

 

It has come to the attention of Alpine Pop Warner Football and Cheer that someone from another youth football league is phoning local businesses and residents stating they are affiliated with Alpine Pop Warner and soliciting donations.  They are requesting donations for a banner or mention in a football program.  They may use the name ‘Big Game Programs’, Please be advised that they are a scam and are not affiliated with Alpine Pop Warner.

 

Alpine Pop Warner does not solicit donations over the phone.  We only request donations in person or by written means on our letterhead.

Welcome to the Alpine Mountaineers website.  Home of Alpine Pop Warner Football and Cheer, the original Football and Cheer organization for the youth of Alpine.  We are the only home for youth Pop Warner Football and Cheer for Alpine and the surrounding communities.  Pop Warner is the only youth Football and Cheer organization that stresses academics and conditioning for its players and cheerleaders.  In Pop Warner weight limits are strictly enforced at most levels ensuring children of the same age and size are playing against each other.  This helps minimize potential injuries by pairing players of equal size and age against each other. For 2012 San Diego Pop Warner has announced an unlimited weight division.  This is only for the older kids ages 11-14 and over 105 lbs.  Other leagues allow unlimited weight divisions at all levels which can lead to an increased risk of injury for younger and smaller players.  We are an organization that runs on volunteer help.  It's a great opportunity to be involved witrh your child.  We are always looking for help and you can volunteer as a Board member, coach, team mom or many other positions.  For information on joining our league please email Alan Barrett, the President of Alpine Pop Warner at president@alpinefootball.com or call at 619-819-0295
